INGREDIENTS
2 c shredded or diced cooked chicken breast or raw, cooked with the onions
2 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 c diced yellow onion
Olive oil
2 c low-sodium chicken broth
2 c freshly shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 lb. of small dry pasta I used penne; about 2 c
1 10 oz. can Manwich Bold + 1 c of water
2 tbsp green onion sliced (optional, for garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS

Place a large pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add oil and allow it to become hot.

Add the garlic and onion, then sauté until aromatic and translucent.

Add the cooked chicken and stir until well combined.

Add water, Manwich Bold Sloppy Joe Sauce, pasta, and chicken broth. Stir until just combined.

Allow the mixture to boil, then turn the heat down to low.

Cover and simmer for about 25 minutes or until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has evaporated.

Remove the pot from the stove, then add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until well mixed. Allow it to melt completely.

Sprinkle more cheese on top and green onions to garnish.

Serve and enjoy!

NOTES
Feel free to use raw chicken for this recipe. Just cook it first before the garlic and onions.
