Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

Freshly ground black pepper
4 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
1/4 c. hot sauce (e.g., Frank’s brand)
2 lbs. chicken wings
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Nonstick cooking spray for air fryer
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Kosher salt, to taste
Blue cheese dressing for serving

Instructions:

Begin by thoroughly seasoning the chicken wings with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to your preference.

Prepare the air fryer by coating its interior with a nonstick cooking spray. This prevents the chicken wings from sticking during the cooking process.

Set the air fryer to a temperature of 380 degrees Fahrenheit and place the seasoned wings inside. Allow them to cook undisturbed for approximately 12 minutes.

After the initial cooking period, carefully remove the air fryer tray and flip the chicken wings over to ensure even cooking. Return them to the air fryer and continue cooking for an additional 12 minutes.

Increase the air fryer’s temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and cook the wings for an additional 5 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.

In the meantime, prepare the sauce. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir these ingredients together until they are well blended.

Once the wings are thoroughly cooked, transfer them to the bowl containing the sauce. Gently toss the wings in the sauce until they are evenly coated.

Serve the wings immediately, accompanied by blue cheese dressing for dipping.
