Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/3 large onion chopped
  • 1 small can of green chilies
  • 1 can of enchilada sauce
  • 2 ounces of cream cheese
  • 1 bag of Fritos corn chips
  • 1 bag of shredded cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced fresh tomatoes
  • 16 ounces of salsa
  • 8 ounces of sour cream

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, cook 1 1/2 pounds ground beef over medium heat until browned; add 1/3 chopped onion and cook until softened.
  • Stir in 1 small can of green chilies, 1 can of enchilada sauce, and 2 ounces of cream cheese; cook until cream cheese is melted and well combined.
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer Fritos chips, meat mixture, and shredded cheese; repeat layers if desired.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake casserole for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot, topping each portion with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, salsa, and sour cream.
