Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened to room temperature
  • 1/3 cup honey wildflower or local
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon freshly ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract pure
  • Pinch salt balance sweetness

Instructions

  • Let the butter sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes so it whips up light and lump-free.
  • Add honey, powdered sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt on top of the softened butter in a mixing bowl.
  • Start whisking on low speed to incorporate ingredients, then bump to medium after 30 seconds.
  • Increase to medium-high speed and whip for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is pale, fluffy, and doubled in volume.
  • Sprinkle in ground cinnamon, taste, and add more if desired, then whip briefly to blend.
  • Spoon into jars or a ramekin and chill for 30-60 minutes for a firmer consistency, or serve immediately.
