Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork chops bone-in for extra flavor
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 5 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon freshly chopped rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.
  • Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper. Arrange them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, combine ¼ cup Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 5 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon freshly chopped rosemary, and 2 tablespoons salted butter.
  • Microwave the mixture for about 30 seconds until the butter melts, then stir thoroughly to create a smooth sauce.
  • Pour half of the honey-mustard sauce over the pork chops and spread it evenly. Flip the chops over and coat the other side with the remaining sauce.
  • Bake the pork chops in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the chops are tender and cooked through. If needed, bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  • Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes after removing them from the oven. Plate the chops and spoon the remaining sauce from the baking dish over them for extra flavor.

Notes

Experiment with herbs like thyme or sage, and adjust the sweetness of the sauce by varying the amount of honey. For added flavor, consider searing the pork chops before baking.
