Ingredients
  

  • 6 boneless pork chops or bone-in, adjust cooking time
  • 4 potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 1 can cream of onion soup
  • 1/4 cup mashed onion mix
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • Season the pork chops with salt. Sear in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned on both sides.
  • Peel and thinly slice the potatoes. Arrange them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  • Place seared pork chops on top of the potatoes. Mix the cream of onion soup, mashed onion mix, and milk in a bowl. Pour the sauce over the pork chops and potatoes.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes to brown the top.
  • Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add grated cheese or herbs like thyme or rosemary on top before the final baking step.
