Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk Eagle Brand recommended
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips Ghirardelli or Nestlé Toll House
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans optional

Instructions
 

  • Stir sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter in a large, microwave-safe bowl until mixed.
  • Microwave on high for 1 minute, then carefully remove and stir.
  • Microwave again for 1–2 minutes in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  • Stir in vanilla extract and fold in chopped pecans if desired.
  • Pour mixture into an 8×8-inch pan lined with parchment paper and smooth the top.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30–60 minutes until firm to the touch.
  • Lift fudge out of the pan, slice into squares, and enjoy at room temperature.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze squares for up to 3 months.
