Ninja Creami Recipes: Homemade Mixed Berry Sorbet

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries) fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup or agave nectar substitute with honey if not strict vegan
  • Pinch sea salt Morton's or Diamond brand
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional for creaminess

Instructions
 

  • Blend berries, water, maple syrup, lemon juice, salt, and optional vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Adjust sweetness or tartness of the purée by tasting and adding more syrup or lemon if needed.
  • Distribute the purée evenly in the pint, tap to remove air bubbles, and freeze for 24 hours.
  • Place pint in Ninja Creami machine, select 'Sorbet' setting, and churn for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Adjust texture by respinning if too powdery or freezing for 10-15 minutes if too soft. Press down with tamper for ultra-silky results.
  • Serve immediately or transfer back to freezer. Let sit for a few minutes before scooping.

Notes

For the best texture, adjust sweetness based on the berries used. Frozen berries can be blended without thawing completely.
