Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready when the casserole is assembled.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the ground beef, minced garlic, and onion powder until the beef is browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  • Spread the cooked beef evenly in a 9x13-inch casserole pan. Stir in the cooked bacon pieces, distributing them evenly over the beef.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Stir in 8 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the beef and bacon in the casserole pan, spreading evenly. Sprinkle the remaining 4 ounces of cheddar cheese over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
