1packettaco seasoning
1lbground beef
1/2cupsalsa
8ozcream cheesesoftened
2tbspbuttermelted
1cupCheddar cheeseshredded
12pieces6-inch tortillas
Instructions
Crumble ground beef into a skillet and cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess grease.
Add taco seasoning to the beef following the packet instructions, usually by adding seasoning and water, then simmer until thickened. Stir well.
In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add salsa and blend well.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
On each tortilla, spread the cream cheese mixture in the center, add seasoned beef, and top with shredded Cheddar cheese. Fold sides in and roll up the tortilla.
Place tortillas seam-side down on a greased baking tray. Brush tops with melted butter and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Top with lettuce, extra salsa, sour cream, olives, or cheese. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier version, add chopped jalapeños to the filling or use a hot salsa.
