19-inch pie crusthomemade or store-bought

4large eggs
1cupheavy cream
1/2cupwhole milk
1/4tspsalt
1/4tspblack pepper
1/4tspground nutmeg
2tbspfresh parsleychopped (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan and crimp the edges if using homemade dough.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
Sprinkle half of the cheese over the pie crust, layer with bacon. In a bowl, whisk eggs, heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour over the bacon and cheese. Top with remaining cheese and optional parsley.
Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden brown and the center is set. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
