Ingredients
  

Cake:

  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • cups milk

Topping:

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

Glaze:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  • Prepare the Cake Batter: In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and sugar until well combined. Add flour, vanilla, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until smooth.
  • Pour and Spread: Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Make the Topping: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Drop spoonfuls over the batter and swirl with a knife.
  • Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Prepare the Glaze: While the cake bakes, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Glaze the Cake: Once baked, let the cake cool slightly before drizzling with glaze.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free flour blend. To add richness, mix cream cheese into the glaze.
