Ingredients
  

  • 6 pork chops
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the Pork Chops: Arrange the pork chops in a 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of brown sugar over each pork chop. Place 1 tablespoon of margarine (or butter) on top of the brown sugar on each chop. Drizzle the soy sauce evenly over the pork chops.
  • Bake the Pork Chops: Cover the baking pan tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
  • Caramelize the Glaze: After 45 minutes, remove the foil from the pan. Continue baking the pork chops uncovered for another 15 minutes, or until the pork chops are browned and the glaze is caramelized.
  • Serve: Once done, remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a flavor twist, consider adding minced garlic or fresh herbs like rosemary before baking. Bone-in pork chops can also be used for extra flavor and tenderness.
