2large boneless, skinless chicken breastshalved and pounded to an even thickness
2largeeggsbeaten with 1 tbsp water
1cupall-purpose flour
1tspcayenne pepper
1tspsmoked paprikaor regular paprika
1/2tspsalt
1/4tspblack pepper
1/2tspgarlic powder
1/4cupvegetable oilfor frying
1/2cuphoney
2tspminced garlic
2tbspsoy sauce
1tbspcornstarchmixed with 3 tbsp cold water
Instructions
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
Mix cornstarch with cold water in a small bowl until smooth. Stir into the saucepan and continue to stir until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, salt, and pepper.
In another bowl, beat eggs with water. Dip each chicken piece first into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly with the flour mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Toss the fried chicken pieces in the honey garlic sauce until well coated. Serve immediately and enjoy!
