2lbsboneless, skinless chicken breastscut into bite-size pieces
32ozfrozen tater tots
16ozsour cream
10.5ozcream of chicken soup
1ozranch dressing mix
2cupsshredded cheddar cheese
1cupcrispy baconcrumbled (optional)
1tablespoonolive oil

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and brown the chicken for 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and ranch dressing mix. Stir until smooth.
Spread half of the frozen tater tots in the baking dish. Evenly distribute the cooked chicken over the tater tots.
Pour the creamy ranch mixture over the chicken, spreading it evenly.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Add crumbled bacon, if desired.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden.
