Ingredients
  

  • 2 packages cream cheese 8 oz. each, softened
  • 1 package chipped dried beef 8 oz., finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3 stalks green onion finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • green onion extra, for garnish (optional)
  • Ritz crackers for serving

Instructions
 

  • Let cream cheese sit at room temperature until soft.
  • In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped chipped beef, and green onions. Mix using a wooden spoon or mixer on low speed until smooth.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to taste. Stir until evenly incorporated.
  • Transfer mixture to a sheet of plastic wrap. Shape into a ball using your hands, then wrap tightly.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Unwrap and place on a serving plate. Garnish with extra chopped green onions if desired.
  • Serve with Ritz crackers or your favorite crackers.

Notes

Add chopped nuts or herbs to the outer layer for extra flavor and texture.
