Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened (Philadelphia brand works great)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (use whole milk for extra creaminess or dairy-free coconut yogurt)
  • 1/4 cup honey or pure maple syrup (sub with agave for vegan)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract (don’t skimp—real vanilla adds depth)
  • Pinch kosher salt (brings out the sweetness)
  • Zest of 1/2 lemon (optional, for a citrusy pop)

Instructions

  • Combine the softened cream cheese and Greek yogurt in a medium bowl. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer on low speed—this is like a DJ mixing tracks, blending textures until silky smooth.
  • Drizzle in the honey (or maple syrup) while mixing on low. Stir in vanilla extract, salt, and lemon zest (if using).
  • Taste and adjust flavor. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and chill in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.
  • Arrange your favorite fruit around the bowl and serve cold. Stir occasionally if sitting out for more than 15 minutes.

Notes

If your cream cheese isn’t soft enough, microwave it for 5–7 seconds—no need to overthink it. For a lighter snack, swap half the cream cheese for mascarpone or ricotta.
