Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages 8 oz each cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat and Prepare :Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
  • Form the Base : Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish, sealing any seams to create a uniform layer.
  • Create the Filling :In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.
  • Add the Top Layer :Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese mixture, sealing the edges with the bottom layer.
  • Top it Off : Drizzle the melted butter over the top layer. Mix 1/4 cup of sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over the buttered dough.
  • Bake : Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown and the filling is set. Let it cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

For a fruity twist, add fresh or frozen fruit like berries on top of the cream cheese layer before adding the top crescent roll layer.
