Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Hellmann’s/Best Foods for that classic flavor
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish look for small-cut Vlasic or Heinz
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard French’s is my go-to
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder freshly ground if you like a bolder bite
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder or finely minced shallot for texture
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika smoked paprika adds a subtle warmth
  • pinch sugar optional—balances the tang
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine mayo, sweet pickle relish, and yellow mustard in a bowl.
  • Add white wine vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
  • Taste and adjust sugar, salt, and pepper to balance the flavors.
  • Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Stir before serving and adjust consistency if needed with water or vinegar.

Notes

For a lighter version, swap mayo with plain Greek yogurt. Feel free to customize sweetness and tang to your preference.
