Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 slices bacon
  • toothpicks for securing bacon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This ensures even cooking and helps crisp up the bacon.
  • In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Slice a horizontal pocket into each chicken breast without cutting all the way through. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each pocket.
  • Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each stuffed chicken breast, covering the pocket opening. Secure with toothpicks.
  • Place bacon-wrapped chicken breasts in a baking dish, ensuring they are not touching. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 165°F and bacon is crisp.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5–10 minutes before removing toothpicks and serving. Optionally garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

Customize the filling with your favorite cheeses, herbs, or vegetables. Use prosciutto for a fancier twist or turkey bacon for a leaner option. Letting the chicken rest ensures juicy results every time.
