Ingredients

  • 3 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 8 oz tube of crescent roll dough
  • 2/3 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth.
  • Prepare the Dough: Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 pre-cut triangles.
  • Assemble the Rolls: Spread a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle. Place two rows of blueberries on top.
  • Roll the Dough: Starting from the wide end, roll the dough towards the pointed end, enclosing the filling.
  • Bake: Place the rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 10-13 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Serve: Enjoy warm for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

For a citrusy twist, add a teaspoon of lemon zest to the filling. Alternatively, swap the blueberries with raspberries or use puff pastry for a flakier roll.
