Ingredients:

2 Bones in thick pork chops, approximately 1 inch thick

3 tablespoons minced garlic

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

4 tablespoons butter

½ teaspoon red bell pepper flakes

3 tablespoons brown Sugar

Salt and pepper

Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions:

-Turn oven on to 400 degrees. Salt and pepper the pork chops.

-In a skillet that is oven-safe (I use cast iron), heat vegetable oil on medium heat. Sear the pork chops for 3 minutes per side. Take out and place in a bowl.

-Reduce heat to low, and add butter, garlic, and brown sugar. Whisk until combined. Allow it to simmer for 2 minutes. The sauce should be added to the pork chops.

-Bake in oven safe skillet for 8-10 mins or until the internal temperature of pork chops is 145F

-Allow pork chops to rest for five minutes. Add fresh chopped parsley to the pork chops and enjoy!
