This Sesame-Ginger Beef is simply the best! A big thanks to my friend, Adie, for sharing this recipe with me. I am so glad that I gave it a try because I never would have tasted perfection! Serve this with rice, and you have a meal to remember! Feel free to add more ingredients if you like. I like to add chili sometimes for a spicy version. Try it and thank me later! Have a wonderful day, everyone. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon plus 1 tbsp. canola oil, divided

2 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

3-inch piece of ginger, peeled and grated

¼ cup soy sauce

1 pound skirt steak, thinly sliced into ¼-inch strips

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1-pound green beans, trimmed

kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

Use paper towels to pat dry the beef. Add them into a large bowl.

Sprinkle salt, pepper, and cornstarch. Toss until well coated.

Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Add 1 tsp oil and allow it to become hot.

Add the green beans, then sauté until soft.

Add 2 tbsp of water, then cover the skillet with a lid. Move the green beans onto a clean plate.

In the same skillet, add the rest of the oil and allow it to become hot.

Add the beef, then cook for about 3 minutes.

Add the ginger, sugar, garlic, vinegar, and soy sauce. Stir until well combined.

Put the beans back into the skillet, then toss until well mixed.

Remove the skillet from the stove.

Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions on top to garnish.

Serve right away and enjoy!
