Crescents with Cream Cheese Sausage

Ingredients:

1 pound ground breakfast sausage, pork or turkey
8 ounces of cream cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
2 rolls of crescent dough

Instructions:

-Preheat the oven to 375*

-In a large skillet, crumble and brown the sausage until the meat is cooked thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper.

-Add the cream cheese to the sausage after draining the fat off.

-Stir until melted and remove from the heat

-Lightly spray a 9×13 baking pan

-Unroll one can of the crescent dough and place at the bottom of the pan, stretch if necessary

-Spoon the meat mixture over the layer of crescent dough

-Top the meat mixture with the other roll of crescent roll dough.

-Bake for 20 minutes, or until the crescent roll dough is lightly browned.
