5 MINUTE MILLION DOLLAR DIP

The 5 Minute Million Dollar Dip is an amazing dish that we absolutely love because of how easy it is to put together. It literally requires only five ingredients, some of which are easily obtainable in a decent kitchen, but you may have to make a quick run to the store for those silvered almonds though. Or even those shredded cheddar cheese. What we’re trying to say is, you’ll definitely get all the five (5) ingredients for this tasty dip at the nearest grocery stores.

Another thing we like about this recipe is that it takes so little time to make it from scratch. We’re talking about 5 minutes, here. And we think that’s so amazing that we have to put it in the name.

Asides from taking little time and being nearly effortless to make, the 5 Minute Million Dollar Dip has a great taste, it’s really delicious and can be eaten with a wide variety of foods from crackers to vegetables and even fries. We could also say that it’s adaptive to a lot of people’s taste buds, as it contains no major allergens (but you should probably steer clear of this recipe if you’re allergic to green onions or almonds, or you’re lactose intolerant. We have other amazing dips recipes on this blog that aren’t likely to kill you.)

To keep track of your weight loss diet, the recipe contains an estimated 311 calories. This recipe contains cheese as well as real bacon bits, so it’s not going to fit into a vegan diet (in any way or form). However, it is keto diet friendly.

Ingredients :

To make this recipe you’ll need the following ingredients:

5 green onions, chopped
8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
1½ cups mayonnaise
½ cup real bacon bits
½ cup slivered almonds
One thing to note is that the above quantities of ingredients is only good for around 6-8 servings, depending on the appetites and preferences of the people that will be consuming this 5 Minute Million Dollar Dip (some people just like to touch the food to the dip and some people actually like to scoop it). However, if you plan on feeding more than eight (8) people, you’re going to have totweak the recipe a bit.

Now, it’s easy to adjust a recipe to suit your needs but it’s not a simple matter of increasing the amount of green onions or silvered almonds (in this case). To increase the number of servings, every single one of the ingredients listed above has to be proportionately increased. Again, it’s easy. But we’re aware that things can get very tricky very fast in the kitchen, so feel free to consult us if you have any questions about this 5 Minute Million Dollar Dip recipe (including questions on how to increase the servings). We’ll be sure to get back to you.

Equipments:

You don’t need much by way of equipments in order to recreate this 5 Minute Million Dollar Dip recipe. All you’ll need are:

A large bowl (preferably one with it’s own lid)
A big spoon, a whisk, or a mixer(preferably one that is temperature regulated).
(It would be great if you could have the spoon as well as either one of the other two)

Nylon or aluminum foil (optional)
A refrigerator
And for the sake of thoroughness, we’ll just go ahead and mention all the other bowls and spoons that are bound to find their way into the dishwasher at the end of this cooking session. Honestly, we don’t know how they’ll get there but you should prepare yourself.

Instructions :

We like to give a little recommendation at the beginning of all our recipes. That recommendation is that you should clear your cooking area before you begin to tackle this recipe. If there’s any clutter on your counter tops or on any other surface, we want you to clear it away. We’re not saying this only for the sake of hygiene or because a clear space is great for a clear mind but also because you’ll actually need the space if you’re going to measure out all your ingredients into small bowls like they do on TV.

So, go right ahead and clear that clutter! (If you have any). Measure out your ingredients into individual bowls (do NOT mix any of them together until the recipe tells you to). And when you’re done, take in a deep breath and let us begin.

Add green onions, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, bacon bits, and slivered almonds to a bowl.
(The technique to doing this is to start off with the mayonnaise and cheddar cheese. Mix those two together first. You can use the whisk here. Then add in your bacon bits, silvered almonds and lastly, your green onions)

Mix until combined.
(Switch to the spoon)

Chill for at least 2 hours.
(This is where you make use of your refrigerator. You can’t just put the bowl of dip into the refrigerator, though. You have to make sure it’s covered. In this case you can use the cover of that bowl, or a nylon or even aluminum foil. The goal is to prevent additional moisture from finding its way into the dip, as that would affect its consistency to a degree, which means you might have to mix it again after chilling.)

Serve with your favorite crackers.
